Laura Drexler
At Adelaide Tinnitus & Hearing Care, we are dedicated to empowering individuals affected by hearing loss, tinnitus, hyperacusis, and noise-related hearing concerns. Founded by Laura Drexler, an Audiologist with a passion for helping people regain control over their quality of life, the clinic offers expert care tailored to your unique needs.
Laura spent 20 years as a paramedic before transitioning to audiology — a career path that is as rare as it is powerful. That two-decade foundation in emergency medicine gave her something most audiologists simply don't have: a deep, lived understanding of how the body and mind respond under pressure, how health conditions interconnect, and how to deliver calm, precise care when it matters most. She brings that same clarity and empathy to every hearing appointment.
She holds extra training in Tinnitus Retraining Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and is currently completing her Doctor of Audiology.

How we work
Our philosophy

We believe good hearing care starts with listening to you and your story, not your audiogram. What matters in your daily life, where you're struggling, and what you actually want from your hearing health. From there, we work with you to find the right path forward - whether that's further testing, a referral, a device, or simply a clearer picture of what's going on.

Come in for a conversation. Leave with a plan.
